Sync is a health tech startup focused on preventing and managing diabetes through personalized care plans, insights, and AI-driven recommendations. A key aspect of this personalization comes from Sync's at-home test kit, which tracks biomarkers to provide valuable insights into a user's vitals. We've partnered with the founder and CEO, Tushar, since day one during his time in Antler's incubator program in NYC, helping to build their MVP from the ground up.

College dashboard
One key element of Sync's unique go-to-market strategy was forming strategic partnerships with universities. A crucial component of this was developing a college dashboard that visualizes data on the overall health of the student population. This need emerged from early discussions with college administrators, and we had to deliver a demo-ready dashboard on a tight deadline—completing it in just three days. Currently implementing a pilot for Babson College.
Web scraping & fine tuning
To fine-tune our Large Language Model (LLM) and curate valuable resources for our users, we required an extensive dataset of articles and blogs on diabetes and pre-diabetes. To achieve this, we developed multiple web scrapers that gathered data from thousands of websites. We then strategically categorized the information to ensure efficient and scalable usage.
